Arizona State won’t be searching for its second new offensive coordinator in a matter of two months, according to FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

Sun Devils offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey, hired in December to replace new Memphis head coach Mike Norvell, will no be under further consideration for the Southern Mississippi head coaching job that opened up this week. Lindsey, the Golden Eagles’ former offensive coordinator, was considered a candidate to replace departed coach Todd Monken.

Lindsey tweeted Tuesday he was busy recruiting for ASU in California.

The news keeps ASU out of a shaky situation heading into National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
