Rain delay holding up a baseball game? Let’s have a joust!

February baseball can be a bit of an iffy proposition for East Coast teams.
Players will likely have to endure plenty of weather delays, and might invent some creative ways to pass the time — but we’ve never seen anything like what went down between George Washington and Delaware State Tuesday in Arlington, Virginia.
With the game delayed by weather, combatants from both teams staged a good, old-fashioned joust.

Not only did GW win the pregame joust, when the weather cleared, they went on to win on the diamond, too. The Colonials defeated the Hornets 8-0.
