ASU kicker Zane Gonzalez named Pac-12 Special Teams Player of Week

Arizona State sophomore kicker Zane Gonzalez has been named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week.

Gonzalez connected on 4-of-5 field-goal attempts, including a game-winning 36-yard kick, in ASU’s 19-16 overtime victory Saturday at home against Utah.

The Deer Park, Texas native also converted on attempts from 20, 45 and 30 yards in the win.

Gonzalez has connected on 14-of-17 field-goal attempts and 25-of-27 extra-point attempts on the season.
