Arizona RB Orlando Bradford arrested, dismissed from team

Word came down Wednesday afternoon that Arizona football player Orlando Bradford had been arrested and faces three counts of domestic violence kidnapping as well as four counts of domestic violence aggravated assault.
Incidents happened over last several days. It was reported to police today. Arrest made today. Bradford is being processed at Pima Co. Jail.

Not long after the news broke, Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez released a statement saying the sophomore had been dismissed from the team.
“Earlier today, we were made aware that Orlando Bradford had been arrested as a result of his actions he has been dismissed from the program,” Rodriguez said.
A three-star running back out of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bradford ran for 208 yards and three touchdowns on 47 carries last season and this year had amassed 16 yards on five attempts.
