A reshuffled offensive line looked promising for the Arizona Cardinals at first glance.

Carson Palmer had time to lead his team on an efficient 75-yard drive in just more than five minutes to begin Sunday’s eventual 38-19 road loss against the Atlanta Falcons.

The quarterback completed all five of his passes on the possession capped by tight end Jermaine Gresham’s touchdown catch, but it was a 3rd-and-2 completion to Larry Fitzgerald just two minutes in that highlighted the drive.

That would be a diving, one-handed grab by Fitzgerald that gave Arizona a 17-yard completion and kept the opening drive alive.

The play came partially as a result of effectiveness by the reshuffled offensive line.

Arizona entered the game with D.J. Humphries, the starting right tackle, making the move for his first action at left tackle. Ulrick John made his first start at right tackle, while former left tackle John Wetzel moved to right guard, supplanting Earl Watford, who was not on the inactive list for the game but entered the contest banged up.
