The Pulse: Cardinals’ 5-1 record considered ‘most impressive’

Oct 22, 2014, 10:39 PM | Updated: 10:49 pm

Every day, ArizonaSports.com asks readers a question. It’s the Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, and it can be found midway down the right side of our home page.

On Monday, we asked which 5-1 record was most impressive: the Arizona Cardinals’, Arizona State’s, or Arizona’s.

A total of 1,712 people voted, and the majority is most impressed with the Cardinals at 58 percent.

Twenty-two percent favored the Sun Devils, and 20 percent thought the Wildcats’ 5-1 hot streak was most impressive.

It’s an understandable result, since the last time the Cardinals went 5-1 to open the season was in 1976 when the team was still based in St. Louis.

The Cardinals will face an identically 5-1 Philadelphia Eagles team on Sunday, Oct. 26 in hopes of improving to six wins on the season.
