Former ASU DT Marcus Hardison buys stranger Xbox as random act of kindness

Dec 15, 2016, 8:00 AM

Former Arizona State defensive lineman Marcus Hardison has yet to make it big on an NFL field.

He’s not letting that skew his perspective. Hardison is lucky to make a living playing football, and the current Cincinnati Bengals lineman is keeping himself grounded this holiday season by, at least, one documented random act of kindness.

On Instagram, Hardison posted a picture of himself standing with a young man who is holding a brand new Xbox One at a Best Buy. The caption explained the situation.

“Just walking through Best Buy and decided to make someone’s day,” Hardison wrote. “Just a random act of kindness. God has blessed me, so I feel I should share the blessings. Coming to a store near you lol @bestbuy #SeasonOfGiving #Holidays #Christmas.”

While he’s playing Santa Claus this year, let’s hope Santa brings Hardison the gift of luck heading into 2017. He didn’t play his rookie season and was placed in the injured reserve list by the Bengals in the preseason due to a shoulder injury.
