Following Arizona State’s 42-23 over UCLA in Pasadena Saturday night, the Sun Devils are back in the Top 25 of the Associated Press college football poll, coming in at No. 22.

The Sun Devils were led to victory behind a second-half shutout from the defense, as well as a strong performance offensively, led by junior quarterback Jayden Daniels.

The ASU signal caller threw for 286 yards on 13-of-18 passing with two scores and added 45 yards on the ground. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall had a big night for the Sun Devils offense, turning in two touchdown receptions of over 50 yards. Pearsall finished the game with a career-high 132 yards on four catches.

With the win, the Sun Devils open conference play with a 2-0 record and are back in the Top 25 following a loss to No. 10 BYU in Week 3.

ASU may be on the rise, but the same can’t be said about the rest of the Pac-12 Conference. After falling on the road to Stanford, Oregon dropped in the rankings from No. 3 to No. 8.

The Sun Devils have a quick turnaround and will face Stanford in Tempe on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. MST, catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
