D.J. Khaled reveals exclusive Craig Sager edition Air Jordan sneakers

Rapper D.J. Khaled’s rallying cry, “We the best,” is applicable to two of the parties involved in this story. Craig Sager, who is battling leukemia, is arguably the best NBA sideline reporter, if not the most recognizable sideline reporter across sports. Michael Jordan is arguably the best basketball player ever and also the most powerful name in the athlete-branded shoe game. So it was pretty cool that Jordan made two pairs of an exclusive Air Jordan 1 sneaker called the “Sager Vision” colorway. Like Sager’s famously eye-popping suits, the Jordans include bold combinations of plaid, stripes and checkers clashing together. The bottom of the shoes are slightly transparent — the left shoe says “vision” and the right reads “Sager.” The only question here is this: Where did D.J. Khaled come into all of this? He was the second recipient of Jordan’s special Sager edition shoe. The first was unsurprisingly Sager himself.
