Arizona Cardinals’ Week 2 win garners record TV ratings

The Arizona Cardinals’ 25-14 win at the New York Giants last Sunday generated a rating of 21.9, a franchise record for a Week 2 telecast.
The game was estimated to have reached 406,000 Valley households, according to the NFL and The Nielsen Company.
The Week 1 home win over the San Diego Chargers was televised on Monday Night Football, drawing a local rating of 28.1 and an audience estimated at 520,000 Valley households.
The Cardinals face the San Francisco 49ers at home on Sunday.
