Arizona State lost to Stanford on Saturday, but the Sun Devils revealed even more devastating news for the overall look of the season — linebacker Koron Crump will miss the rest of the season.

He injured his left leg in the first quarter against Texas Tech on Sept. 16 which caused him to miss the rest of the game, and now that injury will sideline him the rest of the year.

Crump was one of the best Sun Devil defensive players early on this season, getting four sacks in ASU’s first two games.

As a junior in 2016, Crump tallied nine sacks, one interception and three fumble recoveries in 11 games.

Head coach Todd Graham announced the news in his postgame comments following the Sun Devils’ 34-24 loss, and also said defensive back Joey Bryant will be out for the season with a torn ACL.

According to Sun Devil Source, Crump’s ASU career might not be done, even though he is a senior.

Crump played junior college at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.

Sun Devil source reported that Bryant tore his ACL during Tuesday’s practice.
