For the second week in a row, Arizona State senior Tra Holder earned the Pac-12 Player of the Week award after he led the Sun Devils to a championship at the Las Vegas Invitational.

The tournament MVP helped his 6-0 ASU team find itself ranked for the first time since the end of the 2008-09 season.

Against Kansas State and previous 15th-ranked Xavier, Holder averaged 25.5 points and shot 53 percent — including going 6-of-11 from three — to go with four assists and four rebounds per game. The point guard also added 2.5 steals per game.

Holder scored 40 points in the upset over Xavier and with the weekly honor becomes the first ASU player to post back-to-back Pac-12 Player of the Week awards since James Harden did so in 2008.

Averaging 23.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, Holder is the only college basketball player averaging more than 23 points, six boards, five assists and two steals so far this season, per Sports-Reference.com.
