Phoenix Suns’ Gerald Green doesn’t need shoes to dunk

“Money, it’s gotta be the shoes!”

That was the famous line delivered by Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon character in a 1989 Nike Air Jordan commercial.

Phoenix Suns guard Gerald Green doesn’t subscribe to that belief.

During a shootaround prior to Phoenix’s game in Orlando Wednesday, Green performed a standing, through-the-legs dunk — and he did it in his socks!

Here's proof that for @g.green14, it isn't necessarily the shoes.

Unfortunately, Green didn’t get a chance to duplicate the move in Wednesday night’s game. The veteran got his third “DNP-Coach’s Decision” in the last 15 games.
