The Cinderella story for 11th-seeded Loyola-Chicago continues, as the Ramblers defeated Kansas State Saturday 78-62 to advance to the Final Four.
Loyola has captured the attention of college basketball fans across the country, but perhaps more popular than the team itself is the team’s chaplain, Sister Jean Delores Schmidt.
The 98-year-old has been with the Ramblers every step of the way during the NCAA Tournament, earning the unofficial title of the team’s good luck charm.
In attendance Saturday, Sister Jean was spotted sporting some sweet custom sneakers.

The custom Nike shoes have been dubbed the “Air Sister Jeans,” paying homage to her rise in popularity as the team has danced its way through the tournament.
The shoes shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, however, as Sister Jean already has her own bobblehead.

And just in case you thought maybe the bobblehead was just for show, over 1,500 have already been pre-ordered through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
Whether or not the “Air Sister Jeans” will be available to the public is still unknown, but they are very popular among Twitter users.
