The Pac-12 announced on Friday that Arizona State and Colorado will play in the conference’s annual Pac-12 China basketball game next November.

The game is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 9 and will be nationally broadcast in China and the United States.

The matchup between ASU and Colorado will be the game’s fifth iteration.

“We look forward to exposing two of our basketball programs and their student-athletes to the country and culture of China, and expanding the educational and global impact of Arizona State and Colorado,” Pac-12 Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Jamie Zaninovich said.

The game will not count towards Pac-12 conference play, the conference said.

This year’s game between Cal and Yale will be played Saturday.

“We are thrilled for the tremendous opportunity to showcase all the energy, investments and innovative ideas our campus has been working on and for a great educational experience for our student-athletes in China,” Arizona State Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson said.
