Arizona State Sun Devils still projected to play in Redbox Bowl
The Arizona State Sun Devils (5-5; 2-5 Pac-12) need just one more win to become bowl eligible for the second consecutive year with Herm Edwards at the helm.
ASU has been searching for win No. 6 since Oct. 19, as the Sun Devils have lost four consecutive games after starting out with a 5-1 record through the first half of the season.
Arizona State will have two more opportunities at postseason eligibility, both of which are at home.
ASU has a tough matchup with the No. 6 Oregon Ducks this week before the 2019 season finale against the Arizona Wildcats.
But despite the four-game skid since being ranked No. 17 in the AP Top 25, national pundits are still projecting that the Sun Devils will be playing football in December.
Here’s what’s being projected for ASU’s bowl game this season:
Steven Lassan: Redbox Bowl vs. Indiana
Mark Schlabach: Las Vegas Bowl vs. Boise State
Kyle Bonagura: Sun Bowl vs. Louisville
Brad Crawford: Redbox Bowl vs. Indiana
Jerry Palm: Sun Bowl vs. Miami (FL)
Joe Tansey: Redbox Bowl vs. Indiana
Sun Bowl vs. Virginia
