Trivia Tuesday: Most common Division I college mascots

There’s only one school with ‘Sun Devils’ as a mascot.

Same for the Purple Eagles, Hoosiers, Jayhawks and Chanticleers.

But not every school has such a unique mascot. Some of them are quite common.

Of the 354 Division I NCAA institutions, 17 different mascots show up for four or more schools.

Your Trivia Tuesday challenge this week is to name the most common mascots. We’ve given you seven minutes on the clock and the number of times each mascot name is used.
