It took until Week 6, but we’ve finally got a new team atop the Arizona Sports NFL Power Rankings.

The Seattle Seahawks, owners of the worst statistical defense in football, also happen to have the best player in the game right now, and because of that, they’ve taken over the top spot.

Russell Wilson continued his magic Sunday night, finding D.K. Metcalf in the end zone with 21 seconds left to give Seattle a 27-26 win over the Vikings in what was a strange football game. The Vikings dominated the first half, then Seattle scored three touchdowns in a span of 1:51 in the third quarter to take the lead.

Wilson continued his stellar play with three touchdown passes. In fact, Wilson leads the league with 19 touchdown passes — five more than the second-place QB, Josh Allen.

The Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears were big jumpers this week, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers plunging.

Arizona Sports NFL Power Rankings Week 5

1. Seattle Seahawks (5-0) ▲1
Russell Wilson has a team with a terrible defense undefeated.

2. Green Bay Packers (4-0) ▲1
“My down years are career years for other quarterbacks.” — Aaron Rodgers

3. Tennessee Titans (4-0) ▲4
They’ve caused the league some headaches, but they played like an angry team Tuesday night.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-0) —
Receiver Chase Claypool may be a problem for teams to deal with for a long time.

5. Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) ▼4
Fun fact: The Chiefs have allowed every opponent to score a multiple of 10 this year. The 40 to the Raiders was not ideal.

6. Baltimore Ravens (4-1) —
Lamar Jackson wasn’t great and didn’t need to be against Cincinnati.

7. Los Angeles Rams (4-1) ▲2
They’ve beaten up on the NFC Least. Now we’ll find out how good they really are.

8. Chicago Bears (4-1) ▲7
The next four weeks should be brutal for Matt Nagy and the Bears.

9. Buffalo Bills (4-1) ▼4
Josh Norman getting stiff-armed by Derrick Henry was the perfect snapshot from Tuesday.

10. Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) ▲7
Derek Carr and the Raiders put up almost 500 yards on the Super Bowl champs at Arrowhead.

11. New England Patriots (2-2) ▲2
Seems like forever since they’ve played a game.

12. Cleveland Browns (4-1) —
Offense is humming: four straight games of 32 or more points.

13. New Orleans Saints (3-2) ▼2
Taysom Hill scored a TD — extend the experiment!

14. Carolina Panthers (3-2) ▲2
Matt Rhule quietly building his Coach of the Year résumé.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) ▼7
The Bucs are in real danger of a three-game losing streak with Green Bay and Las Vegas looming.

16. Indianapolis Colts (3-2) ▼6
Frank Reich is sticking with Philip Rivers; we’ll see for how long.

17. Arizona Cardinals (3-2) ▲2
Got right vs. the ultimate ‘get right’ opponent in the Jets.

18. Miami Dolphins (2-3) ▲6
Authors of the most surprising beatdown of the season in San Francisco.

19. Dallas Cowboys (2-3) ▲2
Their two wins have come by the narrowest of margins against teams that are still winless.

20. San Francisco 49ers (2-3) ▼6
It looks like the injuries have finally caught up to them.

21. Los Angeles Chargers (1-4) ▲2
Justin Herbert is a phenom. I mean he’s 0-4, but a phenom!

22. Detroit Lions (1-3) —
If you’re coming out of the bye with two road games, they may as well be Jacksonville and Atlanta.

23. Houston Texans (1-4) ▲7
Texans undefeated since showing Bill O’Brien the door.

24. Minnesota Vikings (1-4) ▼4
Can’t imagine dominating Seattle like that and losing.

25. Philadelphia Eagles (1-3-1) ▼7
Carson Wentz has thrown at least two interceptions in four of five games.

26. Denver Broncos (1-3) —
We’ll see if two weeks of prep helps them against the Patriots.

27. Washington Football Team (1-4) ▲1
Alex Smith taking actual snaps is some uplifting stuff.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) ▼1
I vaguely remember the team that beat Indy in Week 1.

29. Atlanta Falcons (0-5) —
Let the house cleaning begin!

30. Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) —
I’m pretty sure A.J. Green wants out based on his effort level.

31. New York Giants (0-5) —
Close, but no cigar in Dallas.

32. New York Jets (0-5) —
Every bit as bad as advertised.
