After a standout week of practice leading up to the 2021 Senior Bowl, former Arizona State Sun Devil Frank Darby showed once again why he’s catching the eyes of NFL scouts and draft analysts.

Darby came up big when he caught a deep shot pass from Arkansas quarterback Feleipe Franks on a 4th-and-8 to bring the National team to a first down at the 14-yard line.

The drive ended in a field goal, putting the National team up 13-0 over American before the half.

It was Darby’s only reception on the day.

The wide receiver later had a rough stretch of plays in the third quarter, with three targets in a row resulting in incompletions.

The National team, led by Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores, handed the American team a 27-24 defeat.

Darby, who declared for the 2021 NFL Draft in December, finished his four-year career in Tempe with 1,317 receiving yards on 67 receptions with 13 touchdowns.

His best season came in 2019 when he reached career highs in catches (31), yards (616) and touchdowns (8), while earning Pac-12 honorable mention accolades.

The wideout was listed on The Draft Network as a player to keep an eye on ahead of the annual exhibition. Darby is the third Sun Devil receiver, after N’Keal Harry and Brandon Aiyuk, to make the site’s list since 2018.
