Arizona State’s men’s basketball team will continue to be very shorthanded on Thursday.
CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reports that freshman guard Josh Christopher (back) and freshman wing Marcus Bagley (ankle) will both not play against Washington.
Christopher has missed the team’s last four games. The freshman is averaging 14.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
As for Bagley, he hasn’t played since Jan. 30, ASU’s last game before having three straight postponed. Bagley has now been out for six straight games. In 11 games this season, he’s posting 11.8 points and a team-high 6.1 rebounds per contest.
The Sun Devils will also be without sophomore guard Jaelen House (back tightness), junior wing Taeshon Cherry (personal reasons) and freshman forward Pavlo Dziuba (COVID-19), per The Athletic’s Doug Haller.
House is a new name sidelined after playing 23 minutes in Tuesday’s win while Cherry has been out since mid-December.
