Arizona basketball’s game against Washington on Thursday will be postponed due to COVID-19 complications in the Huskies’ program, Arizona announced Wednesday night.

No. 11 Arizona has started the year 6-0 including a win over then-No. 4 Michigan. This would have been the first conference game of the year for both the Wildcats and the 4-4 Huskies.

Washington’s next three games were at Arizona, home against No. 5 UCLA on Sunday and at No. 3 Gonzaga on Dec. 12.

As of yet, nothing has been canceled beyond Thursday’s game, but it is currently unknown if the Huskies will play Sunday. Since it is a conference game, the two teams will mutually agree on a date to make up the game.

Arizona will now tip-off its Pac-12 season on Sunday in Corvallis vs. Oregon State before playing five final nonconference games.

The Wildcats then resumes their conference schedule with games in Los Angeles against UCLA and No. 20 USC before visiting Tempe for another Territorial Cup matchup in Tempe.
