Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt announced this week that he and his wife Kealia are expecting a child sometime in October.

Watt told reporters after the team began its third session of OTAs on Monday that the couple is still trying to figure out names for the baby boy, which is harder than he anticipated.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year said his work ethic on the job won’t change just because he’ll be a father, but there is a special moment he can’t wait for.

“I’m definitely excited that during my career I’ll hopefully have a photo with my child on the field,” he said.

Teammate and offensive lineman D.J. Humphries was ecstatic when he found out Watt was about to join him as one of the dads on the team.

“Bro, I got you. I got a whole book written down,” Humphries told reporters Monday. “It’s got a little blood, a little tears on there, but it’s a hand-written book that’s step for step for you, bro.

“I got you. Don’t even worry about it. Get you a diaper cake and everything, bro. That’s awesome. Congratulations, bro!”

Watt was then asked if his teammate gave him the aforementioned parenting book to help prepare him.

“He’s not giving me that (expletive),” Watt said with a grin. “He’s just going to shake my hand and say, ‘good luck.’ I’m going to wait for that book. All these guys told me they’d give me tips — I haven’t gotten one tip yet.”
