Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley had a media day highlight reel

Newly acquired Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley got the chance to introduce himself to the fan base during the team’s media day on Monday.
He did so in the most “Pat Bev” way possible. He’s not afraid to speak his mind or tell a story exactly as it goes. It doesn’t matter if it’s not G-rated.
So, naturally, Lakers media day was must-see TV whenever Beverley had a microphone in his hand.
When Beverley was acquired, social media was quick to react to the idea of he and Russell Westbrook’s ability to co-exist considering their past history. However, Beverley dispelled that idea by saying Westbrook is his best friend on the team thus far.
What exactly brought them closer, though?
“A boat ride, you feel me,” Beverley said in a press conference. “It was just us two. It was real intimate, there was 2,000 candles.”

Before that bit of facetiousness, however, Beverley shared a true story about a previous interaction they had when Westbrook was with the Houston Rockets.
“He comes to me during the game like, ‘Yeah, man, I got your sister courtside tickets (to the game),'” Beverley said on Spectrum Sportsnet. “But I’m in so much game mode that the only thing I hear is my sister and I’m turning around like, ‘What the (expletive) is going on?”
Beverley added that once the play calmed down, he processed what Westbrook said and saw his sister courtside.
“(He) doesn’t know me from a can of paint,” Beverley said. “That’s real. That’s real that (he) did that.”
Yahoo Sports insider Chris Haynes asked Beverley what his favorite LeBron James highlight is, as he asked every other Laker he spoke to.
Haynes told James that Beverley’s favorite highlight was when Beverley blocked him, and the future Hall of Famer’s reaction was priceless.
“What’s wrong with Pat, man?” James told Haynes while laughing. “Them (Chicago) boys got issues and I got three of them. I got him, I got (Kendrick) Nunn and (Anthony Davis).”
Chris Haynes: "I asked Pat Bev what's his favorite LeBron highlight, this fool he going to say, 'The block I had on LeBron!'"
LeBron James: "What's wrong with Pat, man? He got issues."

If all else fails this season with the Lakers, it’s safe to say that Beverley and co. will be must-watch and must-listen.
