New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton is slated to start against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football, according to NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz.

Dalton (back) had been listed as limited on Monday and Tuesday’s injury report, but was upgraded to full for the estimated injury report on Wednesday’s walk-thru pracitce.

Quarterback Jameis Winston, who started the Saints’ first three games of the season, has missed each of the team’s last three games and was limited in practice all week due to a back and ankle issue.

However, Winston was not on New Orleans’ inactive list, meaning he will be dressed out and available on the sideline for head coach Dennis Allen.

In three starts for the Saints this year, Dalton has thrown for 585 yards and three touchdowns on 63.1% passing (53-for-84).

He’s thrown only one interception, while spreading out his three TD passes at one per contest.

In his career against the Cardinals specifically, Dalton is 1-5 all-time, with his lone victory coming in his rookie campaign as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011.

Thursday night will also mark the fourth consecutive season in which he’s faced Arizona, all with different teams.

The Cardinals beat Dalton when he was with the Bengals in 2019, Dallas Cowboys in 2020 and Chicago Bears in 2021.

Dalton is also 0-11 in his last 11 road games in primetime.

Kickoff from State Farm Stadium is set for 5:15 p.m. on Arizona Sports 98.7.
