In a tumultuous season for Arizona State football, the rise of one wideout has been quite the show for fans of the Sun Devils.
Elijhah Badger has shined during his eight games in 2022, hauling in 45 passes for 627 yards (13.9 YPC), four receiving touchdowns and added a nine-yard rush on the season.
According to Pro Football Focus, Badger ranks No. 7 in the country for all wideouts this year with an 83.3 grade. That metric is good enough for the No. 5 grade in the power five conferences.

He has really shined over the last two games, catching a combined 14 passes for 255 yards and one touchdown against Stanford and Colorado.
His production comes at a much-needed time with the quarterback switch for the Sun Devils and Badger’s relative inexperience with only a handful of games played heading into this season.
The redshirt sophomore only played in one game in his freshman year and seven games in his second season.
Badger joined ASU in 2020 in a wideout class alongside Chad Johnson Jr., LV Bunkley-Shelton and Johnny Wilson. Only he and Johnson Jr. remain on the squad as the other two hit the transfer portal in the offseason.
Badger was high school teammates at Folsom High School with running back Daniyel Ngata in 2020. Badger caught 183 passes for 3,398 yards and 52 touchdowns in three seasons.
