Steelers welcome Cardinal legend Kurt Warner to booth with Super Bowl memory

Dec 23, 2022, 8:08 PM | Updated: 8:18 pm

Arizona Cardinals fans have removed two memories from their minds when it comes to Super Bowl XLIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers: Kurt Warner’s pick-six to end the first half and Santonio Holmes’ game-winning touchdown grab, where the jury is still out in the Copper State if he got both feet in bounds.

This was and still is the closest Arizona has been to winning a Super Bowl and Warner was a major reason the team reached those heights.

Warner currently works for NFL Network, which is broadcasting the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Steelers game in Pittsburgh on Saturday night, and was welcomed into the booth with a picture of one of the most painful memories of his career.

Warner thoroughly outplayed his quarterback counterpart, Ben Roethlisberger, in the game, throwing for 377 yards, three touchdowns and the one unfortunate interception that went the other way. The Steelers QB threw for 256 yards and one score, which proved to be one of the most important TD passes in franchise history.

Warner was fun with the topic, playing into the long-running joke around the Valley that Holmes only got one foot down.

When a commenter on his tweet gave picture evidence that both feet were down, as it was called on the field, Warner gave a classic response.
