Brock Osweiler set to meet with Dolphins

Apr 10, 2012, 1:38 AM | Updated: 3:04 am

Coming off Brock Osweiler’s recent workout for the Denver Broncos Friday in Tempe, the former Arizona State quarterback tweeted he’s scheduled to meet with the Dolphins after arriving in Miami.

It’s Osweiler’s second visit with an NFL team in just a few days, as interest continues to mount for the former Sun Devil’s services.

The Dolphins possess the No. 8 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft on April 26, but surely won’t take Osweiler with that pick. Miami could choose to utilize a later pick on Osweiler, in an effort to secure a young, promising quarterback to cultivate in their system.

It’s been projected that Osweiler is a second round selection, despite some analysts predicting the 6-foot-7 signal caller could be first round talent. Osweiler threw for a record 4,036 yards in his one full season as a starter for an underwhelming 2011 Sun Devils squad.
