When the Notre Dame Fighting Irish battle the Arizona State Sun Devils at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, they will look a little different than normal.

The BCS Championship Game runner-up will be sporting a special uniform that was created for their two-game set with the Sun Devils, which has been dubbed the “Shamrock Series.”

It is certainly a departure from the school’s traditional look, but at the same time it’s tough to really criticize it. The white with accents of green and gold looks pretty good.

Now the only question left is what uniform combination the Sun Devils will choose for themselves for the October 5 battle.
