Down goes Wolf! Larry Fitzgerald tackles Ron Wolfley at Cardinals training camp

Aug 6, 2016, 7:53 PM | Updated: Aug 8, 2016, 11:38 am

No one is safe around the Arizona Cardinals’ training camp, including your favorite Arizona Sports 98.7 FM personalities.

Ron Wolfley of Doug & Wolf learned the hard way Saturday at the Red & White practice.

Fitzgerald, jogging onto the field, spots Wolf and Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s and former teammate Bertrand Berry heading up the field to get a better view.

Berry, a couple years fresher off of NFL retirement, is well ahead of Wolf, who can’t keep up with Berry and becomes the target.

As Fitzgerald grabs his left foot, Wolf hops on one leg for a second to turn around and see what’s going on. In a veteran move, Wolfley quickly gives in to Fitzgerald’s expert wrap-up and hits the ground.

Perhaps the biggest controversy of this moment is not why Fitzgerald went after Wolf or the multiple camera angles, but Berry instead laughing at the sight and getting closer to the action.

Wolf posted his reaction on twitter.

No word yet from B-Train or Fitzgerald on the takedown of Wolf.
