It was a stellar Saturday for Stanford running back Bryce Love.

The junior hit the ground running, taking the ball 61 yards for an early Stanford score.

He didn’t look back after that.

In the second quarter he found the end zone once again, this time from 43 yards out, but wasn’t even close to done.

He followed it up with yet another long touchdown in the third, running for 59 yards, to earn his third score on the day.

In his seventh-consecutive 100-yard game, Love set a single-game record for the Stanford Cardinal before the game was even over, rushing for more than 300 yards on 25 carries. He also became the fastest Stanford running back to reach 1,000 yards.

People took notice.

Behind Love’s record-breaking performance, the Cardinal took down the Sun Devils 34-24.
