The players have spoken: Arizona State’s Nov. 8 home date with Notre Dame will be desert-fueled.
ASU announced via Twitter Sunday night the team collectively decided to wear its copper and anthracite-themed uniforms in its matchup against the Fighting Irish at Sun Devil Stadium. The new unis were introduced before the start of the 2014 season.

Sun Devil fans will be hoping the Desert Fuel duds will help the team obtain a better result than last season’s matchup against Notre Dame in Arlington, Texas. The Irish upended then-No. 22 ASU 37-34 in that game, which was played exactly one year before ASU’s Sunday uniform announcement.
