Seahawks Earl Thomas and Bobby Wagner traded some verbal jabs at each other following the team’s 42-7 loss at home to the Los Angeles Rams.
Thomas was asked by a reporter how much he though Wagner’s injury affected his play and his response was honest.
“You normally see Wags running from sideline-to-sideline, he just couldn’t do it today,” said Thomas in the video below posted to Seahawks beat writer Greg Bell’s twitter account:
Earl Thomas doesn’t think All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner should have played with bad hamstring for #Seahawks in blowout loss to Rams. “The backups would have done just as good.” @thenewstribune pic.twitter.com/svmgAOE3D5

That prompted a tweet from Wagner that has since been deleted, but not before Bell was able to capture the image:

Other Seahawks fans had their two cents to chip in, and seem to have head coach Pete Carroll on the hot seat.
if pete carroll retired tomorrow and the seahawks hired dan mullen on Tuesday id be cool with it

Pete has completely lost control of his team.

So even though this might not have been the year the Cardinals hoped for, our rival birds in salty Seattle don’t seem to be having a merry Christmas season either.
