Arizona State Sun Devils’ entrance among top ten in the nation

College football is a sport full of history and tradition.

So it’s somewhat surprising that Arizona State’s relatively new tradition of running through Tillman Tunnel is already considered one of the nation’s best.

Alan Siegel of USA Today’s College Football Fan Index included the Sun Devils’ entrance in his list of the ten best in the nation.

The Tillman Tunnel entrance came in at no. 7 on the list. Not surprisingly, Clemson’s tradition of running down the hill was first.

ASU revamped the tunnel in 2013 to include inspirational signs, a PT-42 logo and a video screen that shows Tillman highlights as the players prepare to walk out on to the field.
