Report: Raiders expected to name former Cardinal Glennon as backup QB

With 32 teams across the league nailing down their 53-man rosters, the Oakland Raiders appear to have their quarterback room set.
Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Mike Glennon is expected to back up Raiders signal caller Derek Carr, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Carr only threw two passes in the preseason, so the Raiders had a solid look at both Glennon and quarterback Nathan Peterman.
Glennon tallied 491 yards and went 41-of-61 with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Cardinals previously released Glennon in March ahead of free agency.
In two appearances for Arizona, Glennon completed 15-of-21 passes for 174 yards and one touchdown.
The Raiders are expected to keep three quarterbacks on the roster. According to Rapoport, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden likes Peterman and wants to help “resurrect” his NFL career.
In his preseason appearances, Peterman went 60-of-84 for 475 yards and had three touchdowns with no interceptions.
