The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday they have claimed former New Orleans Saints tight end Dan Arnold off waivers.
In a corresponding move, the Cardinals placed defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard on injured reserve.
Arnold, 24, played in 12 games for the Saints the past two seasons, including one start. He recorded 14 receptions for 175 yards and one touchdown. Originally a member of the Saints practice squad at the start of the season, he was an undrafted rookie free agent in 2017 out of Wisconsin-Platteville, where Arnold was a wideout.
Bullard has played in nine games for the Cardinals this season, starting in six of them. He has 22 total tackles, including four for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 2019.
Arizona has lost five in a row and looks to bounce back this week, as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can hear that game live at 2:25 p.m. live on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
