At WM Phoenix Open, Jon Rahm laces up custom Pat Tillman shoes
We know Jon Rahm has in the past tipped his cap to a Sun Devil legend while playing at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The Arizona State product has golfed in different variations of Pat Tillman jerseys over the years.
That doesn’t mean Rahm has run out of ways to celebrate the local hero, who lost his life fighting for his country.
Rahm took the course Thursday for Round 1 of the 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open wearing custom Tillman golf shoes.

The adidas cleats are gold at the toes and feature maroon stars. They fade from toe to heel into full maroon.
A picture of Tillman the Army Ranger is featured along the sides of the shoes.
Rahm wasn’t the only one honoring Tillman at the Phoenix Open this year.
On Wednesday during the event’s pro-am, it was Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson representing Tillman with an Arizona Cardinals twist. He donned the No. 40 jersey that the safety wore in the NFL as he teed off at the rowdy 16th hole.
