New Era releases Vegas-inspired 2020 NFL Draft hats

New Era on Tuesday released its 2020 NFL Draft hats.
The 2020 class of draftees just won’t be able to shake commissioner Roger Goodell’s hand and put them on in front of a live audience after hearing their name called.
That’s a shame, because in the very objective opinion of the Threads Blog, this year’s versions of the draft caps look darn good.
“Inspired by Las Vegas’ iconic neon signs,” according to New Era, the caps go with the theme of the draft event that was to take place April 23-25 in the new home of the Raiders. But due to the coronavirus, the showy event that was to be held in front of fans was canceled.
Every team’s hat is black with thin outlines of each logo popping with color. On the side of the caps, a team slogan appears in a similar bright outline.
The Arizona Cardinals’ caps, for example, say “Rise up red sea” in Cardinal red.
All of the caps come in either fitted, snapback or “low-profile” options and can be purchased on the New Era website for $39.99 each.
Twenty-nine of the teams have revealed their hats for the 2020 draft.
The Raiders, who moved from Oakland to Las Vegas, are not represented yet. Neither are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Atlanta Falcons, who are expected to release new uniforms before the start of the season.
