Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake (ankle) and safety Budda Baker (groin) will test out their respective injuries Sunday and are gametime decisions against the Buffalo Bills, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Friday.

Arizona, however, ruled backup guard Justin Murray (hand), who had been starting for the injured J.R. Sweezy, out. Also missing the game will be defensive tackles Jordan Phillips (hamstring) — who signed with Arizona after playing for Buffalo last year — and Leki Fotu (ankle). Sweezy has been designated to return from the injured reserve but is not yet on the 53-man roster.

Baker did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but was limited Friday.

“We feel like Budda’s a strong possibility. Still have to get him out there on Sunday and see how he feels,” Kingsbury said after defensive coordinator Vance Joseph sounded confident Thursday that his Pro Bowler would be OK.

Drake, who missed Arizona’s 34-31 loss to the Miami Dolphins, was a limited participant in this week’s practices.

“We want to make sure he feels good pregame and can do what he does best,” Kingsbury said before the official Friday injury report was released. “If not, he won’t go.”

Two new names appeared on Arizona’s injury report Thursday. Backup center Lamont Gaillard and backup quarterback Chris Streveler were out of practice with illnesses, but both returned to practice Friday.

On the positive side of things for the Cardinals, two starting players who missed last Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins, corner Byron Murphy and linebacker Devon Kennard, were activated from the COVID-19 list this week.

Additionally, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick went through a limited practices. Tight end Maxx Williams and backup safety Deionte Thompson were also upgraded from out to limited on Thursday as well. They join Drake and Baker as questionable to play against Buffalo.
