The Arizona State men’s hockey team will be playing in style when they host Bemidji State at Oceanside Ice Arena on Wednesday.
For the first time, the Sun Devils will rock a military inspired uniform, honoring those that have served for the country.

ASU’s new threads honor Sun Devils football legend Pat Tillman.
The green and black sweaters have the “PT-42” emblem on the back of each jersey. The blacks lids the Sun Devils will wear also honor Tillman, with the “PT-42” sticker on one side, as well as on the front of the helmets, much like ASU football does.

When the Sun Devils wear their new uniforms on Wednesday, they’ll be looking to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping back-to-back games to No. 5 Quinnipiac.
ASU is currently 6-6 on the season, but have played significantly better in Tempe at their home rink.
The Sun Devils have a 5-1 record at home, compared to a 1-5 record on the road.
