Prospects who have met with Arizona Cardinals at NFL Scouting Combine

The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL are up to their ears in prospect interviews at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

Each NFL team is allotted 45 formal interviews that span 20 minutes on top of holding informal meetings with prospects throughout the week in Indianapolis.

A running list of the prospects who have confirmed they’ve met with the Cardinals this week:

Prospects who have met with the Arizona Cardinals at the 2024 Scouting Combine

Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State WR

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed the team met with Harrison during the combine while on with Arizona Sports’ Wolf & Luke on Friday.

Bralen Trice, Washington edge

Trice played 34 games for Washington from 2021-23.

He recorded seven sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, two passes defensed and a forced fumble last season (15 games).

“That was a great meeting, being that it’s my hometown state for sure,” he told reporters on Wednesday.

Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo CB

Mitchell spent four seasons at Toledo and appeared in 43 games.

He recorded 41 tackles, one interception and 18 passes defensed across 13 contests last year.

“It was good,” Mitchell told reporters Thursday. “Just talking about techniques and stuff like that.”

Gabe Hall, Baylor edge

Hall spent five seasons at Baylor where he appeared in 41 games from 2019-23.

He recorded two sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss and a pass defensed in 12 games played.

Chop Robinson, Penn State edge

Robinson played 22 games for Penn State from 2022-23 after appearing in eight with Maryland in 2021.

He recorded four sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss, one pass defensed and two forced fumbles in 10 games played last year.

Gabriel Murphy, UCLA edge

Murphy appeared in 23 games from 2022-23 at UCLA. Before his time with the Bruins, he spent three seasons (21 games) at North Texas.

In 2023, Murphy recorded eight sacks, 16 tackles for loss and two passes defensed across 13 games played.

Chris Braswell, Alabama edge

Braswell played 41 games for Alabama from 2021-23.

He registered eight sacks, an interception, 10.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one pass defensed.

Jonah Elliss, Utah edge

Elliss appeared in 30 games for Utah from 2021-23.

Last season (10 games), he recorded 12 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, three passes defensed and one forced fumble.

Johnny (Jer’Zhan) Newton, Illinois DT

Newton played in 44 games for Illinois from 2020-23.

He registered 7.5 sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss, two passes defensed and a forced fumble last year (12 games).

“I love the Cardinals. It was pretty cool meeting with those guys,” Newton told reporters on Wednesday. “We had great interactions, broke down some film good and bad and I just loved how they approached me. We had a good talk and we’ll see what the future holds.”

Terrion Arnold, Alabama CB

Arnold appeared in 25 games for Alabama from 2022-23.

He reeled in five interceptions, 12 passes defensed and 63 tackles in 14 games played last year.

Cooper DeJean, Iowa DB

DeJean spent three seasons at Iowa where he appeared in 30 games.

The cornerback recorded two interceptions, five passes defensed and 41 tackles across 10 games played.

Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State OT

Fashanu played in 29 games in four seasons at Penn State.

He started 12 games at left tackle during his junior season in 2023 and was named the Rimington-Pace Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.

JC Latham, Alabama OT 

Latham played in 41 games in three seasons for the Crimson Tide.

He started at right tackle the last two seasons, being named a second team All-American in 2023 by multiple outlets including the Associated Press.

Rome Odunze, Washington WR

Odunze was a first team All-American with the College Football Playoff-bound Huskies in 2023. He reeled in 92 catches for 1,640 yards, the latter of which set a program record and led the nation.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said the potential top-10 pick met with the Cardinals, Bears and Patriots, who all pick in the top four.
