Arizona State’s 26-10 win over then-ranked Stanford boosted them up in the polls released Sunday morning.
The Sun Devils find themselves at No. 14, up four spots, in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. In the AP Poll they are also No. 14 — up three spots.
It was their first win over Stanford since 2008 and came in convincing fashion.
“This one meant a lot,” coach Todd Graham said after the game. “To go out and dominate a team that has dominated us — it was a great night to be a Sun Devil.”
ASU is now 5-1 overall and 3-1 in conference, a half-game behind South-leading USC.
Hitting the road, the Sun Devils go to Washington to take on the Huskies next Saturday.
The game kicks off at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN. It will be able to be heard on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM as well.
Other Pac-12 teams ranked are Oregon (No. 7), the Sun Devils’ neighbors to the south Arizona (No. 15), Utah (No. 19) and USC at No. 23.
