Arizona State head coach Todd Graham indefinitely suspended defensive tackle Mike Pennel for violation of team rules, he announced Tuesday.
Pennel did not play last Saturday during ASU’s win at Cal, and took to Twitter to vent his frustration.
Wow glad we won but warming the bench is a new feeling for me….

They’ll probably make me shut down my twitter for not keeping my mouth closed.. Nobody else to talk to

After being asked by another Twitter user why he’d been benched, Pennel responded “body language”.
For the season, the 6-foot-5, 355-pound junior has three total tackles while playing mostly as a backup to true freshman Jaxon Hood.
Arizona State is on its bye week, and will play at Colorado next Thursday night.
